The Last Thing On My Mind... homework.  Which isn't a good thing.  I have a several page paper due tomorrow afternoon and I can't seem to get it done.  Procrastination?  Maybe.  My mind on other things like Faith & Baseball?  Absolutely.

I woke up at 4am, turned on my radio and the first two things I hear are:
There's a horrible tsunami tearing apart Japan, and Chuck Greenberg is stepping down as CEO of my beloved Rangers.  I've prayed for those in Japan that are affected by the tsunami, that's horrible.  I hope the other coastal areas that could be affected, don't see such devastation.  I hope you'll pray for them as well.

What in the heck happened to the big happy family the Greenberg/Ryan Ownership Group was when they took over?  I, personally, thought Chuck (yea, we're on a first name basis.  I know his, he doesn't know I exist) was a great face for the franchise.  I saw him several times, in person, and on TV, in the bleacher section with the crowd.  Or in the concourse mixin it up with Rangers fans.  I haven't noticed many other CEOs who are willing to do that, he really wanted to make the Ballpark a wonderful experience for everyone who goes.  Oh well, we didn't exactly lose, having Nolan Ryan step in as CEO... I don't think I need to say anything about him.  Nolan Ryan is Texas.

God is really putting things together for me.  I've got more people who support me in my Faith than I thought.  Or maybe they just want me to send them a postcard from Tanzania (just for you Cole, I'll do it).  If I make this mission trip, it would do wonders for someone who has just kick-started his life for God (that's a good great thing!).

Meanwhile, I've got to work on this research paper.  Hope you all had a great week, have a wonderful weekend!!

  1. Enjoyed reading your blog; but even more we enjoyed your visit this evening. Buddy just said it for us: We are so proud of you and so happy about the committment you are making to the Lord. It began the moment of salvation and is proceeding. It just brings so much joy to us just to be around you. That's always been true, but it has certainly multiplied since your salvation experience.

There is a very old song that Tina almost did for special music instead of "BECAUSE HE LIVES" and it is "THE LONGER I SERVE HIM THE SWEETER HE GROWS". One line suggests our journey toward Heaven-"Since I started for the Kingdom." We are a part of the Kingdom now, but it gets better and better.

    We are praying for you.
    With Love,
    Claudine and Buddy

  2. Is there a penalty if I write in your blog more than you do?

You and your family are so special to us. Seeing your mom and Kristianna made me so happy. I told someone at Church that if I ever needed help; I knew that all I would need to do is call Kim.

IMPORTANT NOTE: It makes me happy when our dear ones come in hungry; if they feel at home enough to open cabinets or the fridge or to say, "What have you got to eat?" Remember that!
    Love you,
    Claudine & Buddy
